Day 1: Welcome to Vietnam – Hanoi Arrival
Arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam’s vibrant capital. Meet your driver and transfer to the hotel for check-in and relaxation before the journey begins.
Day 2: Ba Vi Eco Adventure
Escape the city for a day in Ba Vi’s peaceful countryside. Meet friendly locals, learn traditional crafts, and enjoy authentic Vietnamese food. Cycle through lush villages and relax by the river before returning to Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Mai Hich Escape
Journey from Hanoi to the tranquil valley of Mai Hich, surrounded by emerald mountains and rice fields. Explore peaceful villages, meet local hill tribes, and experience authentic rural life before enjoying a cozy night at a local homestay.
Day 4: Kayaking in Mai Chau
Set out for a peaceful kayaking adventure on the Da River, surrounded by limestone cliffs and tranquil waters. Glide past fishing villages, meet locals, and soak in the stunning natural beauty before returning to your lodge for a relaxing evening.
Day 5: Mai Hich – Pu Luong Nature Escape – Mai Hich
Travel to the pristine Pu Luong Nature Reserve, home to the Thai and Muong ethnic groups. Enjoy scenic rides through peaceful villages and lush valleys, take in the vibrant wildlife and greenery, and relax amid the untouched beauty of Vietnam’s countryside.
Day 6: Mai Chau – Nghia Lo Journey
Travel north toward Nghia Lo through scenic mountain passes and tea plantations. Meet friendly Hmong and Thai locals along the way, admire vast rice fields and valleys, and arrive in the peaceful Muong Lo Valley by late afternoon.
Day 7: Nghia Lo – Mu Cang Chai
Travel through the majestic Hoang Lien Son range to Mu Cang Chai. Enjoy scenic views of rice terraces, meet local hill tribes, and capture stunning photos from the Khau Pha Pass.
Day 8: Mu Cang Chai – Sapa
Journey to Sapa via Than Uyen, stopping for panoramic views of Mount Fansipan. In the afternoon, hike through Hoang Lien Son Valley, visiting rice terraces and ethnic minority villages.
Day 9: Sapa – Cat Cat Village
Explore Sapa with a trek to Cat Cat Village, home of the Black Hmong. Visit a French-built hydraulic station, admire the waterfall, and experience traditional mountain life before returning to the hotel for rest and dinner.
Day 10: Cat Cat Village
Trek through Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, and Ta Van villages, surrounded by stunning rice terraces and ethnic minority communities.
Day 11: Cat Cat Village – Bac Ha – Ta Van Chu
Travel to Bac Ha through scenic mountain roads, then enjoy a 10 km trek to Ta Van Chu village. Arrive at a peaceful homestay surrounded by farmland and spend the rest of the day relaxing.
Day 12: Bac Ha – Ethnic Market & Village Trek
Visit Bac Ha’s vibrant ethnic market, famous for colorful textiles and handmade crafts. Trek through terraced fields and bamboo forests, enjoying picnic lunch and scenic mountain views before returning to the homestay.
Day 13: Sapa – Ha Giang
Travel to the scenic Ha Giang province, known for its dramatic mountains, lush terraced fields, and traditional hill tribe villages. Visit local markets and a small museum before relaxing for the evening.
Day 14: Ha Giang – Dong Van
Take a scenic drive through Ha Giang’s breathtaking mountains, visiting Minh Tao Market, Nam Luong Village, and Lung Tam textile village. Stop at the historic Hmong King’s Palace before arriving in Dong Van for an overnight stay.
Day 15: Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Bao Lac
Journey along the majestic Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s most spectacular mountain routes. Visit Meo Vac Market, enjoy a scenic trek through dramatic valleys and rice terraces, then continue to Bao Lac, home to the colorful Black Lo Lo ethnic group.
Day 16: Bao Lac – Ba Be Lake
Travel to Ba Be Lake, Vietnam’s largest natural freshwater lake. Enjoy a serene boat trip through Ba Be National Park, passing waterfalls and lush forest scenery. Later, settle into a local guesthouse in Pac Ngoi village and share a traditional dinner with your host family.
Day 17: Ba Be – Hanoi
Enjoy a morning boat trip along the Nang River to the Dau Dang Waterfalls, taking in the tranquil beauty of Ba Be Lake. Afterward, return to your homestay for a short rest before departing on the drive back to Hanoi.
Day 18: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc
Travel south to Ninh Binh and visit Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital, to explore its historic temples and royal legacy. After lunch, enjoy a peaceful sampan ride through Tam Coc’s limestone caves and a short cycling trip amid rice fields and charming countryside landscapes.
Day 19: Dong Hoi – Tu Lan Cave Adventure
Arrive in Dong Hoi and transfer to Tan Hoa Village for a short briefing before beginning the Tu Lan Cave expedition. Trek through fields and valleys, cross rivers, and explore Hung Ton and Ken Caves. End the day at a scenic campsite beside a waterfall, enjoying dinner and an overnight stay amid pristine nature.
Day 20: Tu Lan – Kim Cave – Hung Ton – Return to Tan Hoa
Embark on an exciting trek and swim through Tu Lan and Kim Caves to reach To Mo Valley. After lunch by the campsite, continue exploring Hung Ton Cave with a guided climb and scenic views of the valley. Return to Tan Hoa, relax at the Oxalis office, then transfer back to Phong Nha in the evening.
Day 21: Tan Hoa Village – ATV Adventure – Phong Nha – Fly to Da Nang
Begin the day with a tranquil bike ride through Tan Hoa village, watching the sunrise over the rice and corn fields. After breakfast, join an optional 2-hour ATV off-road tour through Lim Forest and Kong’s home. Later, return to Phong Nha, explore nearby attractions, then transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang.
Day 22: Departure from Vietnam
Enjoy a final breakfast before checking out from the hotel. Spend some time exploring local markets or relaxing before your private transfer to the airport for your flight home, marking the end of your memorable Vietnam journey.
